Tower of Power
Build the tower, tear it down, and race to finish your beer before everyone else rolls a six.
Game Overview
Tower of Power is a fast-paced dice game played in three rounds. Players work together to build a tower of drinks, then take turns trying to roll sixes to dismantle it. The final round is a race between one player drinking a beer and everyone else trying to roll a six.

What You Need
- One six-sided die for every player.
- Four cups.
- Three coasters that fit on top of the cups.
- Drinks for building the tower: a beer, a cocktail, a bomb shot, and a shot.
- A prepared penalty shot for the loser of the final round.
Agree on drink sizes and keep the tower stable. Use cups and coasters that can safely support the setup.
Round 1: Build the Tower
Randomly choose a player to start. Going around the group, players quickly take turns rolling their own dice. The goal is to roll a six. Every time someone rolls a six, they build the next part of the tower and choose which drink is made for that level.

- Shot
The player who rolls the six that earns the next level gets to choose the drink prepared for that part of the tower. Continue taking turns until the entire tower is built.
Round 2: Tear Down the Tower
The player immediately after the person who rolled the final six in Round 1 starts this round. This is the player who went after the person who chose the shot at the top of the tower.
Players continue taking turns rolling their dice, but now the goal is to avoid rolling a six. If a player rolls a six, they must remove the next part of the tower, working from the top down.

Coasters act as safe zones. If your six makes you remove a coaster, you remove only the coaster and do not have to consume the drink underneath it. Continue until the beer at the bottom is reached.
Round 3: The Final Race
The player who rolls the six that removes the beer from the tower becomes the beer drinker. They may start drinking the beer whenever they are ready.
While the beer drinker drinks, every other player must individually keep rolling their die until they roll a six. Once a player rolls a six, they stop rolling and raise their hand to show that they are finished.
Who Loses?
- The beer drinker loses if every other player rolls a six and raises their hand before the beer drinker finishes their beer.
- The last player still rolling loses if the beer drinker finishes before everyone else has rolled a six.
Play Responsibly
Drinking is optional. You can use water, soda, or other nonalcoholic drinks, and anyone can skip a penalty without pressure. Never force anyone to chug or consume alcohol. Never drive after drinking, and stop if anyone feels unwell.
